Introduction:
Composite metamaterials and structures are widely used in aerospace, marine, automobile industries due to their unique deformation and mechanical properties, excellent vibration suppression, energy absorption and other multifunctional designability. This special session focuses on the design, fabrication and mechanical property characterization of metallic, polymer and composite metamaterials and structures theoretically, numerically and experimentally.
